Due to the high yield point, high hardness and remarkable cold work hardening effect of stainless steel sheet, the characteristics of stainless steel sheet during deep drawing are as follows:

1) Because the thermal conductivity is worse than that of ordinary low carbon steel, the required deformation force is large;

2) When drawing stainless steel sheet, the plastic deformation is severe hardening, and the sheet is easy to wrinkle, which requires large blank holder force;

3) The springback of sheet metal caused by bending and reverse bending at the corner of the drawing die usually forms a concave deformation on the side wall of the product, which makes it necessary to increase the shaping process for products with high dimensional accuracy and shape requirements.

4) During the drawing process of stainless steel sheet, it is easy to appear the phenomenon of caking.
